This paved path along the Middle Fork of Beargrass Creek, begins at the intersection of Lexington Road and Grinstead Drive and serves to connect Cherokee Park to Locust Street and ultimately via further bike routes to downtown Louisville and the Louisville Loop. Along this scenic path you are likely to find herons, wood ducks, turtles, fish, and other wildlife.
The hiking path offers walkers the opportunity to stroll alongside Beargrass Creek. The path has been disrupted of late due to ongoing work by the Louisville Metropolitan Sewer District to install a storm water tunnel; however, it is passable from Grinstead Drive through Locust Street.
