Made from compacted gravel, this path accommodates wheelchairs and strollers. The easy route follows the perimeter of a prairie restoration project with a boardwalk over the pond and a meadow overlook. The trail is easily accessed from the Scott’s Gap parking lot and takes in meadow, wetland, and forest habitats along its course making it perfect for birding or wildlife watching. Hikers will enjoy a diverse assortment of beautiful wildflowers, grasses, insects and birds.
